DUI patrols through the Memorial Day Weekend

Law enforcement will be out in force this Memorial Day Weekend looking for DUI drivers. DUI checkpoints and saturation patrols will begin Friday night and continue through early Monday morning. Funds for these patrols are provided through the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. Those celebrating the holiday should do so responsibly by having a designated driver, calling a friend, a ride service or taking a cab home. Triple A Arizona estimates that more than 847,000 Arizonans will take to the roadways this weekend with the heaviest travel expected Thursday and Friday afternoons.
