The National Weather Service in Bellemont has now issued a Fire Weather Watch for Thursday and Friday. The watch covers the entire state. A Fire Weather Watch means conditions will be very dry and windy and temperatures will be warm. The Weather Service says we can expect winds of 25-to-35-mph with gusts of 55-mph in some locations. Any fires that develop will spread quickly.
