Central Arizona Fire and Medical responded to a structure fire Tuesday evening on the 7000 block of Las Palmas Drive in Prescott Valley. Fire Marshal Rick Chase says upon arrival crews found a home 75% engulfed in flames. He says the fire was beginning to spread to the grasses between the neighboring homes.Chase says crews managed to control the flames and curtail the spread to surrounding homes. Chase says no one was home at the time of the fire and the cause is under investigation.
