Plane emergency at Prescott Airport

Saturday, Prescott Fire responded to the airport on a report of a Cesna plane with 2 people on board reported their gear indicator light was not showing them if their landing gear was down. Officials say the pilot did a couple low fly by’s to visually check the landing gear. It appeared that the gear was down, but it was unsure if it was locked. The pilot circled for 30-minutes to burn off fuel and then tried to land. The nose gear collapsed and the plane skidded to a stop. No injuries were reported.
