The Indian Meadow Fire, which forced the partial evacuation of an area north of Williams Monday afternoon, is 60% contained. State Forest officials say the fire was last reported at 550-acres with 70-fire personnel assigned to the blaze. The fire was caused by a person burning weeds. The blaze destroyed an unoccupied home, several vehicles and several outbuildings.
