Rattlesnake Fire shows little growth

The Rattlesnake Fire in eastern Arizona is holding at just under 17,000 acres; it remains 25% contained. Apache Sitgreaves National Forest officials say the burn area is putting up more smoke today due to ground firing operations and aerial ignitions that help to consume unburned fuels. The area surrounding the human caused fire remains closed to the public.
