Coconino National Forest fire managers have two prescribed burns planned this week. Today crews are working on the Upper Lake Mary Burn project, 15-miles southeast of Flagstaff. Crews are burning up to 1,145-acres. Wednesday and Thursday, crews hope to burn 3,500-acres one mile south of Mormon Lake along the west side of Lake Mary Road. Smoke from these burns will be visible along i-17 and Lake Mary Road.
