Sedona Fire responded to two separate rescues on Sunday for three people who were overheated on the trail. Officials say that even though the hikers were prepared for their hike they ended up needing help and calling 911. Officials say one of the rescues occurred after sunset, requiring crews to hike in, in the dark, and then carry out the injured hikers. Of the two rescues, only one person needed to be transported for additional medical care.
