Thursday afternoon, Cottonwood Fire responded to a brush fire at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. Officials say crews arrived to find the fire had been put out by bystanders. The fire burned approximately 500 square feet adjacent to the camp ground. Crews remained on scene to douse the area with foam and used shovels to ensure the fire was dead out.
