Saturday evening, Cottonwood Fire responded to the report of a fire at a facility on East Rodeo Drive. Officials say crews arrived to find smoke in the ladies bathroom. Upon entering, crews located a small fire on the toilet seat in one of the stalls. Officials say the investigation revealed the bathroom fan had shorted out, caught fire and then dropped flames onto the toilet igniting the seat. Crews easily put out the fire.
