TheatriKIDS production of “SPAMALOT”
August 25, 2017
Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” TheatriKIDS production of “SPAMALOT” retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and features a bevy of beautiful show girls—not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people.
The original 2005 Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and received 14 Tony Award nominations. The show wraps up the TheatriKids summer season and is directed by the theater’s education director Joe Maniglia, with music direction by Kenlynn Winsor. The book and lyrics are by Eric Idle with music by John Du Prez.
Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2 p.m. Sundays Aug. 25 to Sept. 3. Individual tickets are $12 plus applicable fees.
Tickets can be purchased online at Theatrikos.com; by calling (928) 774-1662; or by visiting the theater’s box office, which is open from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and two hours prior to each performance.
