Kin Konnections Support Group for Grandparents, Relatives & Foster Care Families Raising Kids. This support group is for anyone that may be taking on a parenting role for a child in crisis. This group is open to anyone that may want to attend and receive information about childhood trauma, resources for troubled kids, understanding behaviors and difficult emotions, and how to access resources and services for your family.
Many families face difficult dynamics of losing a parent or both parents and struggle with making ends meet for a child you weren’t ready for … we can help! This support group is professionally facilitated and offers many different resources from community partners. Join us and share your story, find support from other kinship caregivers in the community and find the recipe for success!
Kin Konnections Support Group meets once per month at the Flagstaff Public Library – Downtown location every 3rd Friday of each month from 10:30am – 11:30am. Materials and refreshments provided!
