The Cottonwood Public Works Department says the work at the intersection of Mingus Avenue and Main Street is nearly complete with the exception of the tie-in to the existing water main in front of Circle K. The City and Contractor are waiting for laboratory test results of the waterline sampling conducted last week before the two lines can be tied together. Once passing test results are received, the remaining work will be conducted with only minor closures of individual lanes leading to the intersection.
