Red Flag Warning and Wind Advisory today until 7pm

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Apache, Coconino, Northern Gila, Navajo and Yavapai Counties.

Windy conditions will persist today with the approach and passage of a cold front. A Red Flag Warning and Wind Advisory are in effect until 7 pm tonight for many areas along and north of the Mogollon Rim.

Behind the cold front, low temperatures are expected to fall below freezing Tuesday morning for some higher elevation locations including the Flagstaff area, and the Grand Canyon south rim.

The warmest temperatures yet this season are possible by Friday and through the weekend. The lowest elevations of Yavapai County and the Grand Canyon are forecast to see high temperatures reach into the 108-to-113degree range.
