High Grade Marijuana headed for Arkansas stopped on I-40

A load of high grade marijuana headed from Arkansas to California was intercepted on I-40 this week. DPS Captain GR Manera says the Trooper stopped Louis Miguel Lopez of California for not having a license plate on the horse trailer he was pulling. A check of Lopez’s driver’s license showed it was suspended and he was taken into custody. Manera says a search of the vehicle and trailer located 43-pounds of high grade marijuana. Lopez was jailed on felony drug charges.
