Bird nest blamed for wildfire in Prescott
Prescott Fire crews responding to a car crash Wednesday evening spotted a slow moving wildfire near the intersection of Pioneer Parkway and Willow Creek Road. Officials say additional units were called out and the fire was quickly contained. The blaze charred a 20-by-20 area; mainly burning light brush and dry grass. Officials say at the origin of the fire, crews found a nest with a deceased bird inside. The nest had been built on top of some high voltage power lines.
