A mandatory evacuation notice from YCSO remains in place for residents of Crown King. A shelter has been established at Mayer High School in Spring Valley. Prescott National Forest is currently trying to stop the Horse Fire, which is east of Crown King and South of Prescott. The fire was first spotted by a look out Thursday at around noon. Numerous agencies are responding to help with containment. No word on the cause of the fire. The public is reminded that fire restrictions and burn bans remain in place across the state.
