Governor Doug Ducey and Arizona Department of Education to provide partial fee subsidies for low-income students taking advanced placement tests

Governor Doug Ducey today announced an agreement with the Arizona Department of Education to provide partial fee subsidies for low-income students accessing Advanced Placement tests, International Baccalaureate exams and Cambridge International Examinations in the spring of 2018.​ The grant is also supported by generous donations from the Arizona GEAR UP program and the Burton Family Foundation. This initiative intends to increase the number of college graduates, as well as create a more diverse, knowledgeable and innovative workforce in Arizona. For more information on the grant, go to azed.gov/advanced-placement.
