With the warmer temperatures here, residents are advised to be aware of the signs and symptoms of heat related illness or hyperthermia. Some symptoms of heat caused illness are lightheadedness, fainting, nausea, vomiting, headache, muscle cramps, profuse sweating or complete lack thereof. Severe symptoms may require immediate medical attention. residents are reminded of the importance of being well hydrated before heading on into the heat.
