Cattle cause 4 crashes on Cornville Road

YCSO recently dealt with 4-vehicle-versus-cow-collisions on Cornville Road. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says the incidents all occurred on the night of April 7-th and early in the morning on April 8-th. He says Apache Maid ranch-hands had moved cattle from one side of Cornville Road to the other for grazing purposes. Some of the cows became distressed because their calves were on the wrong side of the road. The cows knocked down some fencing and wound up on the roadway. D’Evelyn says there were no injuries among the motorists involved in the crashes; two cows were killed while two others survived.
