City of Prescott is holding a community open house meeting for the Granite Creek Dam Outlet Rehabilitation Project

The City of Prescott is holding a community open house meeting for the Granite Creek Dam Outlet Rehabilitation Project Wednesday, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Adult Center of Prescott. Community members will be able to meet the project team, ask questions, and learn more about the project. The proposed improvements to the Watson Lake Granite Creek Dam will stabilize the 48-inch non-working valve with concrete, and remove and replace the leaking 36-inch valve, allowing the City to safely drain water for downstream management, and extend the life of the valve. Phase I of construction will begin on April 23rd, and is scheduled to be completed by the Memorial Day Holiday. Phase II of the project will begin in fall 2018.
