Dewey-Humboldt burglary suspects caught

YCSO arrested two people connected with a burglary in Dewey-Humboldt and then the illegal use of credit cards taken in the burglary. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says the victim’s returned home in January to find someone had burglarized their garage; an air compressor and a purse containing cash and credit cards were taken. It was then learned the stolen cards had been used at a store in Prescott Valley. The videos showed a male and female suspect purchasing a gaming system, printer and groceries during at least 2 transactions with the victim’s stolen cards. Based on the video evidence, deputies developed information identifying 44-year-old Stephen Dippe from Prescott as one of the suspects. Dippe had previously been arrested for theft and shoplifting at Wal Mart along with a female accomplice, 29-year-old Kareen Frederick from Prescott. Frederick’s was already in the Camp Verde Jail on unrelated charges and Dippe was caught in Prescott this week. Both are being held on felony charges.
