Wednesday, March 21st at the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors meeting in Cottonwood, Chairman Rowle Simmons, will sign a proclamation regarding the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017. Previously, a proclamation by President Obama declared March 29th, 2012, Vietnam War Veterans Day. With the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 signed into law last year by President Trump, Vietnam War veterans will now be commemorated annually for their service.
